Task 1 of – The Intern

Task 1 for “The Intern” gave students only £15 to spend at local charity shops in order to purchase goods that were to be later sold at a student run Flea Market.

Teams were encouraged to seek out corporate sponsorships to raise extra money for comic relief. 17 teams of 5 candidates, worked over 2 weeks to construct their very own marketing campaign, including approaching local newspapers to cover the event.

The flea market was held on the 1st of April at the west-one courtyard. All the local business, decided to get involved and help to raise money for charity.

On the day we raised a total of £1850 for Comic Relief at our charity fundraising event.
